Diamondbacks Starting Lineup: Corbin on Hill, Martinez DH, Snakes Seek Split

Here’s the Diamondbacks starting lineup for their fourth and final game of the four-game home and away series against the Houston Astros. The D-backs can earn a series split if they win today in Houston. Although, with Patrick Corbin on the hill that may be more challenging then you’d prefer.

Not to be a buzz-kill, but Corbin hasn’t pitched well on the road this season. In fact, he’s an entirely different pitcher on the road, where he carries a 6.79 ERA, when compared to his performance at Chase Field, where he has a 2.87 ERA. Going up against this Astros offense at Minute Maid Park will be a challenge.

David Peralta is back from paternity leave, he’s batting leadoff today. Following Peralta is the standard fare of A.J. Pollock, Jake Lamb, Paul Goldschmidt and J.D. Martinez, who’s the designated hitter today.

Following the middle of the order is Daniel Decalso, batting sixth and playing second base, Ketel Marte, Chris Herrmann in left field, and Jeff Mathis behind the dish.
