In case you missed it, Jeff Passan came on the Doug and Wolf show this morning and said that he believes the Diamondbacks got the best value of any team this year with the J.D. Martinez trade.

On Monday, just as the non-waiver trade deadline approached, the D-backs acquired veteran infielder Adam Rosales and RHP David Hernandez. Neither player carries the big name like Martinez, but they both could be big additions to help the D-backs get into the postseason and make some noise.
