Injury Update: Chris Owings Suffers Fractured Finger in Loss to Cardinals (Video)

The Arizona Diamondbacks have reported that Chris Owings sustained a fractured right middle finger when he was attempting to bunt with the bases loaded in the top of the 2nd inning in Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals.

It’s likely that the injury will force Owings on to the 10-day DL, with a corresponding move made to the 25-man roster. At this point in time we do not know what that move will be but we’ll report it as soon as we find out.

Here’s video of the injury to Owings.
